Michael Pankow, CEO and President of our Reverse Mortgage Division at Veterans Mortgage of America, Named Executive Chair of the Education Committee for the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC)

Veterans Mortgage of America proudly announces that Michael Pankow, CEO and President of our Reverse Mortgage Division, has been appointed Executive Chair of the Education Committee for the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC).

In this pivotal role, Michael will oversee the development and delivery of educational content designed to support NAIPC members in their mission to provide resources and solutions that enable seniors to age in place with dignity and security. As Executive Chair, Michael will focus on two key objectives:

  • Internal Education for Members: Creating and curating educational programs that equip NAIPC members with the knowledge and tools to serve their communities better and advocate for aging-in-place concepts.
  • Advocacy and Outreach: Developing content that raises awareness and fosters advocacy for seniors at large, ensuring their needs and preferences are prioritized in public and private sector initiatives.

Michael brings a wealth of expertise to this role, blending his extensive knowledge of reverse mortgages with specialized certifications as a Certified Aging in Place Specialist “CAPS” and Probate certifications, and soon earning the prestigious Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation. Driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors, Michael’s leadership will strengthen NAIPC’s mission to empower individuals with the tools and information they need to make confident decisions about how and where they age.
