Quint D Avenetti

Quint Avenetti enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 2, 1980. Throughout his 28 years of active service, he undertook various assignments, including U.S. Embassy Duty in San Salvador, El Salvador, and the U.S. Mission in Geneva, Switzerland. He served multiple tours in artillery with combat deployments during Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom. Avenetti earned meritorious promotions to Staff Sergeant and combat promotions to Gunnery Sergeant during his 12 years of enlisted service. In February 1992, he was appointed to Warrant Officer, serving sixteen years of commissioned service, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5. His specialties include Targeting, Geodesy, Counterfire Radar, and Fire Support. After retiring from military service in March 2008, Quint moved to Rockwall, TX.
Currently, Quint serves as Vice President of the Combat Systems Sector for Navmar Applied Sciences Corp, where he trains the next generation of Marine Joint Fires Observers and Joint Terminal Attack Controllers. He provides spatial surveillance security to high-threat diplomatic locations for the U.S. Dept. of State. Active in local veterans’ organizations, Quint serves as Commandant of the CWO2 James Randolph Det of the Marine Corps League, member of Rockwall American Legion Post 117, Adjutant for the North Texas Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars, and Veteran Mentor in the North Texas Regional Veterans Court. He is also involved with the Rockwall Band of Brothers and serves as an Adult Volunteer Leader with the Lake Ray Hubbard Young Marines. Previously, Quint was Scoutmaster of Rockwall Troop 989, mentoring 35 area boys to Eagle Scout.
Quint and his wife Brenda have been married for 36 years and have three sons: Quint, Gunner, and Cannon. Quint is a frequent public speaker and author of two books focused on youth character development and leadership. His military service awards include the Legion of Merit Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon with a gold star. Additionally, he holds two U.S. Patents for Artificial Intelligence components and is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Ancient Order of St. Barbara and the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation Semper Fi award for outstanding service to Marine veteran and youth organizations.
