Gene Pugh
Brand Ambassador & President of Military Outreach
Gene is a Vietnam Veteran who served with the 5th Special Forces Group and the Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observation Group (MACVSOG) from 1968 to 1969. He earned his BA from North Texas State University in 1970.
Following his military service, Gene worked for the Washington, DC Schools Adult Education Department, and the Labor Department, where he was involved in various special projects and served on the Mayor’s Emergency Task Force. He later transitioned into aviation, holding positions as a Fix Base Operator (FBO) Manager in Florida after obtaining his pilot’s license.
In 1980, Gene passed his Virginia Real Estate exam while working for Lan-Trac Enterprises in Tysons Corner, Virginia. He later became the Chief Investigator for Peregrine Investigations in Texas, where he conducted site penetration analysis and provided kidnapping awareness training for executive travelers. Gene also worked as a personal trainer and Service Manager for Bally Total Fitness before finishing his career as an assistant store manager for Sigel’s Fine Wine & Liquor.
Outside of his professional career, Gene is an accomplished author, with three published novels and thirteen screenplays to his name. He is actively involved in community service as the Past President of the Richardson Sunrise Rotary Club and as a member of various veteran associations, including the Special Forces Association, Special Operations Association, and Military Order of World Wars.
